We’re delighted to announce that Reiss Butterworth, Paul Sykes and Liam Finn have all been nominated for awards at the upcoming Rugby League Awards Night!
We have two contenders for the prestigious Betfred League One Player of the Year Award – hooker and captain Reiss Butterworth and Paul Sykes, who made his senior debut way back in 1999 and has continued to pull the strings and kick goals from stand-off in his 25th season.
Our third nominee is Liam Finn in the Coach of the Year category, recognising the influence of the former Ireland half-back as we bounced straight back following relegation, finishing top of the table with 15 wins and only two defeats in our 18 fixtures.
The winners will be announced as part of Rugby League’s biggest ever Awards Night at Emirates Old Trafford on Tuesday October 10.
