We are delighted to announce that Sam Day has re-joined the club for the 2023 season!
Day made seventy-five appearances scoring twenty-five tries in his first stint with Rams, becoming a firm fans favourite at the Tetley’s Stadium. He left the semi-professional game in 2021 to focus on a career outside the sport but is back for next year and cannot wait to wear the famous red, amber and black shirt once again.
On re-joining the club Day said, “It’s great to be back at the club again, I spent five really good seasons with the Rams and I can’t wait to get back out there and get playing.”
Head Coach Liam Finn said “I’m delighted that Sammy is back at the club. He’s been a great player for the club before, fast and tough with a great attitude. All the other lads will be glad to have him back too.”
