Dewsbury Rams stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian flag is proudly raised at the corner of the Tetley’s Stadium to show the support of both the club and fans to the Ukrainian people during the current conflict. Organised by Ady Marsh and produced by Chris Walker, the flag was raised on Saturday morning by club volunteers Tony Healy and Neil Coulson.
Organiser Ady Marsh said “At this time, it is important to signify our support for the Ukrainian people. The Ukrainian flag flying at the Tetley’s Stadium is a simple gesture but has been recognised in Kyiv by our friends at the Ukrainian Federation of Rugby League and Kyiv Rhinos”.
The sport of Rugby League is united in supporting the people of Ukraine by encouraging fans to donate to UNICEF’s crisis appeal here.
