Dewsbury Rams are pleased to announce Huddersfield Giants forward Robson Stevens has joined on loan until the end of the season. A product of the Huddersfield Giants academy, the young prop forward has re-joined the Rams on loan until the end of the season after spending a successful loan period with us during 2021 campaign. SCULPTURE OF JACK ADDY TO BE UNVEILED
Following this Sunday’s game with Sheffield Eagles a sculpture of former player, coach and club president Jack Addy, will be unveiled in the Royal Suite. Jack Addy had a long association with Dewsbury RLFC, beginning with his early days as a player in the Colts team, but it was his time as head coach that really stood out. He first took on the role in the 1983/84 season after the resignation of Tommy Smales and slowly put together a team capable of challenging for promotion, which the club achieved in the 1984/85 season. MINCHELLA ARRIVES ON DUAL-REG FROM HULL KR
Dewsbury Rams are pleased to confirm that second-rower Elliot Minchella will be joining from dual-registration partner Hull KR for this weekend’s clash with Sheffield Eagles. The Hull KR Vice-Captain sustained an ACL injury against St. Helens in April 2022 and after months of rehabilitation and preparation is now ready for his first run out for the Rams. Tickets are now available for Sunday’s clash with the Sheffield Eagles and can be purchased here.

York City Knights 30 Dewsbury Rams 2 A bitterly cold Sunday afternoon in York saw the Rams take on York, the game kicked off in blizzard conditions, but it was York that turned on the style into the second half that blew the Rams away. Dewsbury named Callum Turner at full back, whom had missed out on the opening day defeat to Bradford, with Callum’s inclusion to the squad this pushed Jake Sweeting up to scrum half.
