Dewsbury Rams are delighted to announce that the popular mascot scheme that the club ran last season will continue in 2019.
Mascots featured on the club’s social media accounts and website plus match day programme, all this is set to continue. The mascots were also taken on a tour of the ground and taken in to the club shop where they could purchase items of their choice. Then mascots would meet up with Roger the Ram pitch side before leading out the Dewsbury Rams team on match days.
The Rams mascots are again been sponsored by the Amber Ribbon, it is fantastic that they can get behind the scheme again like they did last season.
Dewsbury Rams media manager Steven Downes commented: “We are delighted here at the club that we can keep this fantastic scheme running. We got incredible feedback last year on how positive the experience was for both the mascots themselves and their relatives.
“We hope that previous mascots will return for the upcoming season, and new mascots maybe found. We would like to see as many children and young people down at the ground on a match day as possible to cheer on the lads, and to continue the growth of our younger supporter base.”
