Rams set up crowdfunding page for new changing rooms

Dewsbury Rams have set up a crowdfunding page to raise money to assist in the provision of changing rooms to be built to complement the use of the 3G pitches and to provide an enhanced customer experience.

The club would like to extend it’s facilities and the ways in which it is possible to use them and become the very heart of the sporting scene within the Dewsbury and surrounding area. We already have a lot of people interested in the use of our 3G pitches and the addition of the changing rooms would allow us to widen accessibility for potential new user groups, allow us to provide children and young people with their own changing and toilet facilities and generally provide a quality customer experience address with the increased likelihood of continued and repeated participation.

The Rams continue to work hard to create a community hub at the Owl Lane stadium and are encouraging local rugby and football sides to come to the stadium and use the 3G pitches.

The page will be open for 4 weeks and we are hoping to raise at least £7500 to put towards the cost of the changing rooms. If you want to donate to help the club raise money to help towards building these changing rooms and develop the sporting community in the stadium, then click on our crowdfunding page below.

The idea of the project has come from Sport England who have agreed to match the money received £ for £ up to the maximum amount in the plan £7,500. They have already committed in principle to a further substantial amount of funding to match that already in trust for the club.
