Dewsbury Rams can officially announce that the club has signed prop Jack Ray for the 2019 season.
Ray is a product of Betfred Super League side Castleford Tigers academy, and the young talent is ready to make the next step in his career.
On signing for the Rams, he said: “i just thought it was the best opportunity for me to get into a first team and get some Championship games under my belt. I thought the facilities at the club were really great and when I spoke to Lee (Greenwood) I liked what he was saying.
“I have learnt that you need to be on it in every training session and in every game, you need to be at your peak and to work really hard and giving it your all every session.
“I think it is going to be a big step up coming from an academy, but I have been in and around the first teams before. There are some people here who have been playing Championship rugby for years, so whilst I know it’s going to be hard I am really looking forward to it.”
