Dewsbury Moor require just one win from their final two league fixtures to secure automatic promotion.
Moor currently sit second in National Conference League Division Two, three points clear of Crosfields in third spot.
The teams finishing in the top two will be automatically promoted, while the team in third will enter into a play-off.
The Maroons travel to face fourth-placed Wigan St Judes on Saturday 1st September, before hosting bottom club Leigh East seven days later.
Two points from either match will be enough to secure Moor’s passage into Division One.
Meanwhile, Moor will be aiming to achieve success on a local level at Heavy Woollen Finals Day on Thursday.
Moor’s A team faces Thornhill A for the John Kane Cup at 6.00pm, while their first team faces Thornhill for the Jim Brown Cup at 8.00pm.
Both matches will be held at The Tetley’s Stadium.
Admission is just £5 for adults and £3 for concessions and under-16s.
