Dewsbury Celtic suffered a narrow defeat away at Waterhead on Saturday.

Try scorers for Celtic were Danny Thomas, Joseph Edwards and Ethan Ferry. Pat Foulstone kicked two goals, but the points proved to be in vain as the team slipped to an 18-16 defeat.

The result means Celtic remain four points outside of the top three in National Conference League Division Three, with two games in hand.

Thornhill Trojans, Shaw Cross Sharks and Dewsbury Moor didn’t have matches this past weekend.

Trojans return to Division One action on Saturday when they face Featherstone Lions, while Shaw Cross face a huge home fixture against close rivals Oulton Raiders.

In Division Two, Dewsbury Moor are at home to Saddleworth Rangers, while in Division Three, Celtic are back in action away at Beverley in a clash that will be televised by FreeSports.
