Grassroots: Celtic count down to TV appearance, Moor set for midweek action

Dewsbury Celtic will play their first ever televised match on Saturday 4th August, and the club is calling on supporters to help make the occasion special.

The team teavels to face National Conference League Division Three league leaders Beverley. The match kicks off at 3.05pm and will be televised live on FreeSports.

FreeSports is available on Freeview channel 95, Sky 422, Virgin Media 130, Freesat 252, TalkTalk 95, BT 95 and on the TV Player app.

The club is running a spectators’ coach to Beverley, departing at 11.30am, costing just £5.

The match day will also feature under-7s and under-9s matches, plus a barbecue, brass band and a bouncy castle.

Meanwhile, Dewsbury Moor are in Division Two action tonight.

The Maroons are at home to Crosfields and the match kicks off at 7.15pm.

It’s a crucial game for Moor, who currently sit third in the table, behind tonight’s opponents on points difference only.
