Dewsbury Moor will face Thornhill Trojans in the Jim Brown Heavy Woollen Cup Final following last night’s victory over Batley Boys.
Following a closely contested first half against a determined and physical Batley side, Moor eventually ran out 30-10 winners in the Semi-Final tie.
Batley had secured a surprise win over Shaw Cross Sharks in the previous round and are enjoying an outstanding season in the Yorkshire Men’s League Premier Division.
But the win for Moor means the Final will be an all-Dewsbury affair.
Thornhill Trojans A will meet Dewsbury Moor A in the John Kane Cup Final.
Both matches will be held on Thursday 23rd August at The Tetley’s Stadium.
Kick off times and admission fees will be confirmed in due course.
