Grassroots: Moor prepare for visit of Batley Boys in Cup semi-final

Dewsbury Moor will face Batley Boys on Wednesday evening in the second Jim Brown Cup Semi-Final.

The winners of the match will face Thornhill Trojans in the final next month.

Both sides head into the tie in good form.

Moor had no game this past weekend, but they have won five of their last six National Conference League Division Two matches.

Batley Boys also have plenty of momentum, having won all seven of their fixtures in the Yorkshire Mens League Premier Division so far this year.

The Boys booked their spot in the semi-finals with a surprise victory over Shaw Cross Sharks in the quarter-finals.

The match kicks off at 7.00pm and takes place at Moor’s home ground, Maroon Park, on Heckmondwike Road.

Adult admission is £2.50, which includes a programme, and it’s free for under-16s.
