Shaw Cross Sharks sealed an important victory in their battle to avoid relegation from National Conference League Division One, while Thornhill Trojans produced a superb second-half display to maintain their momentum at the top of the table.
The Sharks, who headed into the game bottom of the pile, produced a great performance to beat promotion-chasing Milford Marlins 23-10.
Try scorers for Shaw Cross were Brandan French, Joe Halloran, Sam Ottewell and Paul March, while former Ram Shaun Squires kicked a goal and a drop-goal.
Thornhill were trailing 20-16 away at Bradford Dudley Hill at half-time, but produced a ruthless display after the break to run out 22-52 winners.
Will Gledhill scored a hat-trick, while former Dewsbury player Zach Johnson grabbed two tries.
Martyn Holland (2), George Woodcock and Danny Ratcliffe were Trojans’ other try scorers.
Casey Johnson kicked eight goals.
