Grassroots: Celtic prepare for St Annes trip, Trojans A aim to bounce back from defeat

There is an abridged National Conference League schedule in place this weekend, and just one of our local sides is in action.

In Division Three, Dewsbury Celtic make the trip across the Pennines to face Oldham St Annes. The match kicks off at 2.30pm.

Celtic did not have a game last Saturday; they were 50-10 winners away at Gateshead Storm on their last outing on Saturday 9th June.

St Annes were beaten 36-12 away at Millom last weekend.

Celtic head into the match in sixth place, having won seven matches from 11 so far this season, while St Annes are eighth, with four wins from their 11 matches.

Meanwhile. Thornhill Trojans A are in action on Tuesday in the John Kane Cup Semi-Final, where they travel to face Batley Boys DMR.

Trojans A were beaten at home by Milford Marlins A yesterday evening.
