Dewsbury Celtic’s under-7s and under-9s teams will take part in a mini Rugby League festival in memory of former Huddersfield Giants player Ronan Costello.
The festival will be held at Leeds Road playing fields this evening, between 6.00pm and 8.00pm, in celebration of Ronan’s life.
More than 150 children from community clubs across Kirklees and other surrounding areas will participate at under-7s, under-8s and under-9s age groups.
The tournament will raise money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance, with all participating teams making a donation to the cause.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the event to show their support for the young players.
