Dewsbury Moor recorded an emphatic victory on Saturday to continue their strong recent form in National Conference League Division Two.

The Maroons were 54-16 winners against West Bowling and the result marks Moor’s sixth win from their last seven matches.

It’s also their second on the bounce following defeat away at Saddleworth Rangers earlier this month.

Moor are now just two points behind league leaders Stanningley, with a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Thornhill Trojans edged a tight contest against Dewsbury Celtic on Friday evening to advance to the Final of the Jim Brown Heavy Woollen Cup.

The Trojans A team travel to face Birstall Victoria tonight in the semi-final of the John Kane competition.

The match kicks off at 7.00pm and takes place at John Curwen Academy Playing Fields, Batley.
