There were wins for three of our local National Conference League teams this past weekend.

In Division One, Shaw Cross Sharks arrested their recent run of defeats with a superb 11-10 victory at home to Featherstone Lions.

Try scorers for the Sharks were Joe Halloran and Ryan Chalkley. Chalkley added a conversion, while former Ram Andrew Tillotson booted over a drop-goal.

Elsewhere, Thornhill Trojans’ strong run continued with an 18-4 win over Dudley Hill.

Danny Ratcliffe crossed for a brace, while Will Gledhill also grabbed a try. Joel Gibson kicked three conversions.

Thornhill sit top of Division One, while the Sharks move clear of Ince Rose Bridge in 11th.

In Division Two, Dewsbury Moor secured a 24-16 win away at Leigh East.

Jordan Foster, Connor Vickers, Aiden Ineson and Archie Bruce were the try scorers for Moore. Inseson kicked four goals.

Moor sit third in the table, four points behind leaders Stanningley.
