Writing in his programme notes, Rams chairman Mark Sawyer has provided an update on the club’s negotiations with stadium naming rights partners.

“As you will have noticed, we are currently referring to the ground as The Tetley’s Stadium, but that doesn’t mean that they have entered into a new partnership with us,” said Sawyer.

“We have still not decided whether to retain the services of Carlsberg UK.

“There are other options on the table and other avenues are being explored, but what I didn’t want to do is to enter into one name change and then another in a couple of months, although I appreciate there are pros and cons to this.

“Above all, I don’t really want to rush into anything without looking at the detail.

“We are free agents at the moment, so there in no pressure on us apart from our own.”

In his notes, the Rams chairman also discussed 4G facilities, ongoing fundraising efforts and the effect postponements can have on clubs at our level. To make sure you don’t miss out, pick up a copy of match day programme ‘Rampages’ at the next home game.
