Rams chairman Mark Sawyer has expressed his gratitude to Rita Davies, who has made a £250 donation to the All Together 2018 fund this afternoon, and to all of the other groups and individuals who have made contributions so far.

Rita’s generous donation, which was made online, takes the total raised by #SquadGoals to £435. All of the money raised by #SquadGoals will be added to the All Together 2018 ‘pot’, which currently stands at more than £4,000.

Sawyer said: “I’d like to personally thank Rita for her very generous and significant donation, which will make a huge difference to the overall fundraising.

“It’s important, too, to recognise the numerous supporters and organisations that have already made smaller donations, and organisers Neil Coulson, Graham Fisher, Peter Marsden and Ady Marsh, who have helped get this project off the ground.”

All Together 2018 unites existing fundraising schemes, including the Dewsbury Faithful, #SquadGoals and further money raised by independent donations.

The Amber Ribbon has also made a contribution of £2,000 towards the fund.

A target of £12,000 has been set, and the money will be used to help boost the Rams’ salary cap and enable head coach Neil Kelly to strengthen his playing squad.

Supporters can click here to make a donation online, or make a donation in person to Neil, Graham, Peter or Ady following tomorrow’s match.
