Rochdale Hornets have released a statement regarding the fixture between the Hornets and Dewsbury Rams, scheduled to take place on Sunday 18th February (3.00pm) at the Crown Oil Arena (Spotland):

“Rochdale Hornets can confirm it has held discussions with Dewsbury Rams and Rochdale AFC regarding a potential fixture change relating to the Betfred Championship round three match that was due to take place on February 18 at the Crown Oil Arena.

“The [football club] were drawn at home to Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup fifth round with the match being selected for television broadcast, leaving Hornets without use of the Crown Oil Arena on February 18.

“All avenues are currently being explored and that includes a change to date, or a change to venue.

“The club would like to assure supporters that as soon as we are able to confirm alternative arrangements, they will be circulated via the clubs website and social media.

“Once again, we apologise to those who had made arrangements to join us for this fixture, however all season tickets and pre-purchased tickets will be valid for a rearranged fixture. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.”
