Dewsbury Moor have completed the signing of a former Academy Grand Final winner with Wakefield Trinity.

Tom Harrington joins the Maroons almost 20 years since last playing for the club as a junior, having also previously played for Dewsbury Celtic.

“Training has been going very well it’s good when you feel yourself getting fitter by the week. I’m really enjoying it,” he said.

“All of the lads have made me feel at home I sometimes forget I’m on a new team. Every session is a laugh.

“I’ve yet to play with the lads yet but, from what I’ve seen in training, I think anything’s possible this season.

“But I’m at a new club, so I need to earn my stripes,” he added.

“I like to score tries, create them and be very dominant in defence. I will try to bring the best out of not only myself, but also those around me.

“I have won plenty of trophies in my career, so I’m craving some silverware!”
